Dedicated Construction was engaged to undertake the fit-out of the new location for Short Order Burgers in Baldivis, which we completed in August 2024.
The burger shop fitout scope consisted of kitchen and cool room layout changes with new walls and openings required to make the kitchen space more functional. All new cook line equipment and stainless steel benches round out the back-of-house scope.
The front of house scope was more detailed, consisting of a new custom-made curved main counter and suspended overhead in a 1950s American diner theme to keep with their brand and other locations.
New flooring and substantial shop front modification works were also undertaken, allowing for an online order pickup window to the side as well as installation of solid blackbutt timber ledges with Annetta operable windows for the main shopfront.
Blackbutt was also used to make the custom high bar table and bench seat, with a powder-coated steel and upholstery banquette seat also being built in-house by DeCo, which sits in front of timber wall panelling. Slimline LED lighting integrated into the joinery creates a warm and inviting space which complements the incredible burgers Short Order are famous for.
Custom Built Counter
Deco in house factory built the custom-made curved main counter and suspended overhead shleves, Designed in a 1950s American diner theme to match the Short Order interior branding.
Custom Built Banquet
Blackbutt timber was used to make the custom high bar table and bench seats. Red powder-coated steel and upholstery banquette seat were all built in-house by Dedicated Construction.
