This is the second ice cream shop fitout location for our friends from Pietro and thrilled that they insisted to work with DeCo for their new location.
It was another great design by MATA Design Studio with bold colours and beautiful finishes selected.
The new ice cream shop fitout was located in the new Woolworths shopping precinct on Beaufort St in the heart of Inglewood. We started with a bare shell when we took over the premisses. New Gyprock walls and ceilings framed the space. The signature mosaic floor tile patten throughout the venue added a impactful design element.
The other main features of the venue are the custom made main counter and coffee counter. They featured golden stainless steel bench top with the integrated Pozzetti Gelato fridge bellow. Plus a Terrazzo tile finish facade with matching gold stainless strip.
The custom made curved point of sale counter fitted to the right hand side of the main counter was constructed from Corion. This counter was the perfect contrast to the main counter. Our other main highlight is the custom made banquette seats with leather upholstery in a 3 cushion back detail mimicking scoops of gelato.
Custom wall mounted bench tops allow for customers to watch the world go by while they eat some of the best Gelato in town. Unique lighting fixtures where specified to illuminate the space in conjunction with Pietro Gelateria’s beautiful logo manufactured from folded brass with LED backlight.
