Cheeky Monkey Restaurant & Tap House Fit Out

Dedicated Construction was trusted by Cheeky Monkey Brewing for its Tap House fit out expansion into the Perth southern metro area in mid-2024. Situated within the Rockingham Central shopping centre and designed by MATA Design Studio, we undertook the substantial de-fitting of the old tenancy, which was in major disrepair from a number of previous poor-quality fitouts over the venue’s extended history.

The major changes to the construction site were the relocation of services and the construction of the new central bar structure, which provides the operator with a fantastic way to greet the clientele as they enter the venue. The bar provides traditional pub-focused service and old-time charm, which is overlooked in many new hospitality spaces.

The other main feature is the ‘floating’ TV and brick structure over the new gas fireplace which provides an amazing atmosphere during the colder months.

Bespoke wall panelling and custom-made banquette seats constructed in-house by DeCo Construction are located on the old upper bar deck location which needed major rectification works including the full subfloor to be re-built and finished with solid Tasmanian Oak flooring due to substantial water damage from previous tenants works.

A custom-designed kids’ cubby house and play zone were also added, ensuring the little ones have fun while parents can enjoy another round of their amazing beers or desserts.

A substantial signage scope was also included in this project which works in conjunction with the beautiful fit-out to ensure this project stands out from its competitors and allows an old struggling tenancy to become the standout space for the area.
