Having proven their craft through numerous award winning hospitality fit outs across Perth, Dedicated Construction (Deco) had significant expertise to draw upon when entrusted with the refurbishment of the iconic Raffles Hotel.

More than a hospitality venue, the Raffles Hotel is a treasured Perth heirloom over a century in the making. The need to preserve the past while embracing the future represented the ideal challenge for Deco – with an eye for complex detail, restaurant shop fitters Deco were well equipped to revitalise the hotel’s majestic art deco while simultaneously infusing a modern Australian vibrancy.

As the main shopfitting contractors on the project, Deco strongly influenced the final design and finishing details throughout the venue, working closely with the client and designer to realise their grand vision.

Time was of the essence – just 3.5 months were allocated to deliver the award winning interior fit out – a tight timeline made even tighter by the presence of multiple structural inadequacies that had to be worked through both cleverly and quickly. No strangers to historical shop fit out renovations, Deco were able to swiftly identify and rectify each inadequacy, avoiding costly and timely delays.
