Downtown Fremantle was the chosen location for the long awaited second Chi Cho Gelateria. The historical stone cottage structure was given a beautiful design inside and out by Ohlo Studio. Incorporating environmentally friendly specifications and methodology added another element to a unique project. As usual all items within the venue were custom made by DeCo.
Shop Front View
New signage and paintwork to existing shop front.
Back Bar & Menu Board
New stud walls and render coining detail blend perfectly into the wide joint, brick clad counter facade and minimalist menu board
Recycled Jarrah Joinery
80 year old Recycled Jarrah beams were machined by DeCo to make the table and seat joinery items
Mirror Box
A suspended custom made box frame rendered, with wall lights and mirror integration
Custom Made Signage
Remington Matters provided the custom made folded stainless steel sheet which was a late addition by Jen Lowe the very talented designer from Ohlo Design Studio
Coining Deailing
The historical limestone walls had rendered 'Coining" details added Rockcoat render
External joinery Items
The existing tables were stripped, painted and we installed terrazzo toppers with negative detail substrates to refresh the alfresco
Main Counter
Custom made curved counter with 4mm laser cut curved stainless steel countertop with folded upstand. Hand cut solid bricks laid in soldier pattern to the facade
