Canteen Pizza Fit Out

Canteen Pizza is the little sister restaurant to iL Lido just up the road and was originally only planned to be a ‘pop up restaurant’ with a major re-development planned for the site within two years.

Dedicated Construction was awarded the fit out contract for the traditional Italian pizzeria restaurant mid 2017 and with a seven week schedule we delivered on time and on budget.

Due to the ‘pop up’ restaurant fit out nature of the design scope, it was a fine balance between limited expenditure and ensuring the dilapidated building received the required renovation works to make it a clean and bright beach side restaurant that can easily hold its own within the Cottesloe crowd.

Its success is testament to the operators which were rewarded with winning the ‘Best Casual Dining’ category at the AHA awards last year and the venue continues to be a favourite for all who visit.

This was our first project working with Jen Lowe from Ohlo Studio based in Fremantle which has now grown into a fantastic relationship with many more projects in development. Ohlo design is similar to Dedicated Construction as both operations are owner operated which gives the client ‘peace of mind’ that they are receiving the best of the chosen brand for their fit out project.
