Over a number of year and roles, I continue to engage the expertise and services of Joshua Tunks’ Dedicated Construction. Across many projects now, Josh has continually demonstrated excellence in his field as a hospitality, tourism and leisure focussed construction and building professional.

Josh and his team’s attention to detail is obvious and this allows them to quickly grasp a project’s design intent. In particular, Josh’s innate understanding of how hospitality projects need to dovetail into the (eventual) operational requirements is one of his most admirable attributes. Combined with an open-minded responsiveness to last minute variations and a willingness to go beyond the scope, Josh and his Dedicated Construction team successfully deliver quality projects time and time again.

We have worked alongside Josh from Dedicated Constructions on a couple of our hospitality projects and he has always been very professional in his dealings with us as the designers, the Client and his trades which is a reflection of the person he is and the operation he runs. Josh at dedicated construction is our preferred builder for hospitality projects. Hospitality is a niche, specialised building field. It requires flexibility and adaptability due to the variety and fast turn-around of projects; often lead times are short and details need to be developed on the fly. Josh has a great eye and pays attention to detail which means we feel safe working together with him from start to finish.

During the projects Josh from Dedicated Construction has worked with us his commitment and meticulous work ethic is what particularly stood out. His Ability to deliver on time and on budget without compromising on quality were key to his tenure as our preferred Site Supervisor in all of the previous WA  projects.

As the Operations Manager for CLG in WA I worked side by side with Josh on all Perth projects. During this time I have always found Josh to be very professional to deal with and I was particularly impressed with his ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, despite numerous unforeseen issues and program changes that naturally present themselves with projects of our size.

Further testament to the quality of the work completed under Josh’s supervision was provided when Print Hall won the winning project award at the 2013 WA Master Builders Awards and again when the Raffles Hotel won same award for 2015.

For a period extending three and half years we have worked with Josh Tunks on numerous projects. The various roles we have engaged Josh to undertake have included Site Management, Quality Management and Applied Skilled Labour. In particular Josh oversaw an extensive commercial project consisting of 4,000 square meters whereby he oversaw Quality Management, Site Supervision and Project Administration.

The site required an extensive renovation transforming a Heritage building into a 4 storey hospitality venue housing several bars and commercial kitchens. The outcome proves Josh’s ability to execute logistically challenged construction models with a high standard of quality detailing.

Another example of Josh’s vast skill level is Half Moon, a hospitality complex located in Brighton Victoria, where Josh worked with our project team in assisting with engineering design solutions. Our team were specifically pleased with Josh’s communication skills and his ability to grasp challenging design proposals.
